Driving from Playa San Miguel-February

My girlfriend and I are looking to drive from Playa San Miguel to Montezuma in a Bego. It's out first time to Costa Rica and were trying to figure out the best route, because we are concerned about river crossings. It is February and dry season but we don't know how high the Rio Bongo will be for crossing in a small 4x4. Any help would be great!

Rio Bongo is not a big river, and will not represent any problem until the next rainy season, always is a good idea stop at "la Perla India " ( small cantina before Mansanillo ) and ask about the tide, if too high you should take the Rio Negro route, Pura Vida ...
