Are there any reasonable priced restaurants for lunch along the drive, that reimburse the toll fee?

Roy's is very good, they have great Sushi rolls there. You have to spend $25 there to have your fee re-imbursed. Also, check out The Market, they have great sandwiches and goodies there. I'm not sure if they re-imburse you gate fee or not there. Have fun! :)

The Pebble Beach restaurants will apply the gate fee to your bill provided you show the gate receipt to your server. I'm not aware of a minimum charge, is that a new policy?

Roy's at Spanish Bay is definitely a good spot.

The gate fee is $9-$10 for the 17 mile drive. There are several restaurants and an upscale market within the property. If you are looking for the least expensive lunch, I would buy picnic supplies outside. Even considering the fee rebate, I believe it would be cheaper. If you are planning on wine with lunch, I would definitely not purchase it at The Market.

If you can swing it though, there are a couple of nice restaurants with marvelous vistas; Roy's at Spanish Bay (mentioned) and Stillwater at the Lodge.
