Vail extends ski season

With nearly two feet of snow in the last week, 25 feet so far this season and powder in the forecast, Vail Mountain has extended its scheduled closing date for the 2015/2016 winter season one week to April 17! This means there's plenty more skiing and riding to be had in Vail.

Come enjoy an extra week of fun in Vail, with more than 2500 acres staying open during closing week.

The annual Spring Back to Vail event will still happen on April 8 to 10.

So excited! We went ahead and booked another week in vail. We are headed up Saturday and will stay until the 16th. I hope the snow is good. The season went by way too fast.

Heading out Saturday for the week. Looks like a nice week of spring skiing with everything still open.

Does anyone know if the terrain parks will still be open next week? Thanks.

Might be able to leverage the extra week with a deal at Sebastian

If the budget allows, the Sonnenalp is offering 20% off April 3-May 25. http://tinyurl.com/jockg7r
