Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center and Theatre

When you travel to the beautiful Long Island coast town of Old Saybrook in 2009, you will be able to see the brand new Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center and Theatre. Currently the venue is under renovation and construction.

The building is on the National Register of Historic Places built circa 1910.

The "little gem of a place with a movie star name" is the only theatre to be named after the iconic actress. Hepburn called Old Saybrook home for most of her life.

The theatre is smack dab in the middle of Main Street.

What a wonderful tribute to the late Ms. Hepburn. Can't wait to see a show there! Old Saybrook is a great town-- we vacation there every summer.
