Cristata or Microtel?

I'm looking for an inexpensive place to stay that has a free shuttle to Mohegan and it looks like the Best Western Cristata Inn and the Microtel Inn & Suites meet both criteria. The Microtel is a few dollars cheaper, but I don't know if one of the two is clearly better than the other. Is anyone familiar with either, or, preferably, both of these properties? I've seen a positive report on the Cristata in this forum, but nothing about the Microtel.

Thanks, in advance, for any info!

Cristata is slightly better than the Microtel. There's nothing wrong with either property, I just prefer the Cristata. Parking is free at the casinos and we always drive, so I can't really help you with the shuttles.

Not much of a difference between the two so if you are saving $, i'd go with the Microtel - its nice, clean, and the shuttle service is very convenient.

I would go with the Cristata. I know they have shuttles that run back and forth-and their shuttle is a limo.
