I do NOT think grilling is allowed on Rehoboth Beach. Try the state park picnic pavillon areas at Gordons Pond, near the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park & the DE Seashore Park State Park areas like Tower Rd and South Inlet Day area.

Hope this helps!

Grilling on the beaches if a no/no. There are picnic areas in the state parks set up for that .

The last two posters are correct. There is no grilling allowed on the beach at Rehoboth. There is grilling allowed in the designated areas at the state beaches and we have grilled on the beach in the area where we can drive our SUV on the beach.

You can do both at Gordon's Pond; they have a nice ocean beach (actually, you park at the beach and hike or bike to the pond). If you're going to pay to go, might as well save parking expenses and spend the day there. There is a new large pavillion with plenty of picnic tables, but that's about it.

If you want hot showers and a concession stand, the main CHSP beyond the ferry terminal in Lewes or the SP at Indian River Inlet are the only two that have those. Your daily payment voucher is good at all DE SP's.

Another state beach, Tower (just south of Dewey Beach), has concessions and bathrooms with showers.

As far as I know you can not grill on the beach in Rehoboth. A couple miles south on Rt 1 past Dewey there is a Tower Beach , a DE State Park beach. You can't actually grill on the beach there but just off the beach there are grills and picnic benches. You will need to buy pass which then gets you in to ant DE State Park. Further down RT 1 there are other DE State Beaches that I believe you can grill right on the beach.

You should listen to Mr. Snow. He not only is a regular visitor to the beaches of lower Delaware, he is also my father-in-law...lol. He is correct on what he just wrote.
