What time will the last bus leave from the airport to South Beach? And how long does it take?

The last bus for the night leaves the airport central station at 11:40. It takes 30 to 40 mins to reach south beach, probably slightly less at that hour.

You can view the route map and schedule at:

Yes, it will work if you don't mind walking 3 blocks with your bags. Get off at the 9 Street stop (on Washington), then walk 2 short blocks east and 2 blocks south to the hotel.

If you miss the 9 Street stop the next stop at 5 Street is about the same distance from Majestic.

The bus is called the "Miami Beach Airport Express", also known as the # 150 bus.

At the airport, it departs from the Central Station, which is next to the Rental Car Center (RCC), both are about a mile from baggage claim at the terminals. You reach the bus station/RCC via the free "MIA Mover" light rail. Follow the pink MIA Mover signs from near baggage claim.

At the Central Station, follow signs to the buses. The #150 bus leaves from Bay 10 (normally, but read the clear signs there in case of any change). You can pay cash as you board the bus, the fare is $2.65 pp. They don't return change, so exact amount is best, but you can pay a bit more ($3 e.g.) and still ride the bus if you want. If you don't have exact change you can buy tickets at self-serve ticket machines at the central station before boarding the bus, and use those.

For the Delano, get off at the 17 Street stop (on Collins Ave).

Thanks AG. All the websites throw up the expensive private car services and hardly anything else...Not interested in handing over $100 plus just to get to and from the airport once I get to a destination. Have saved the info you posted....Appreciate the help, saved us some cash we can spend on something more enjoyable.

For the Tropics, get off at the 17 Street stop (on Collins Ave), then walk a couple of blocks south on Collins. If you miss that, the next stop on Washington at Lincoln Road is about as close to the Tropics.
