Palm Beach or Ft. Lauderdale/Marco Island?

We are considering booking a trip to one of the Marriott Vacation Club properties in May. We are coming with a 2 year old and 4 month old. We are looking for a good pool, and easy accessibility to places to eat.

We've never been to the Palm Beach area, is this a good place for us? We are also considering Ft Lauderdale and Marco Island (haven't been to those areas either) if one of those might be better.

Palm Beach is a very ritzy area so if you are vacationing on a budget I would recommend the other two. Also, it may be problematic getting around being that Trump goes there every weekend.

Palm beach has lots to offer, but I'd say ft.Lauderdale would be your best fit for younger ones, do the water taxi, one afternoon, city place to eat, shops. Ect,

The MVC's located on Singer Island/Palm Beach Shores are direct beachfront and have awesome family friendly activities. The areas of Palm Beach Gardens, Juno, Jupiter are easily accessible (15-20 minutes away) & have many family-friendly restaurants & activities. Your 2 year old might enjoy a visit to The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno to visit the turtles! This area is 20-30 minutes away from Palm Beach proper but in many aspects, it is a world away!

The Fort Lauderdale MVC is located on an extremely busy, noisy road which you would need to cross every time you want to go to the beach. The area is much more congested than the Palm Beach properties.

Marco Island is very nice. Family friendly wide beach. Nice family activities at the resort but honestly, I think the Palm Beach area offers more family friendly dining & activities. There would be an array of restaurants & activities in Naples...30-40 minutes away.

Have a good trip!
