Springhill Suites Peabody

We are looking at this hotel for a Boston vacation since the package price is very good. We were hoping to avoid renting a car. How easy would it be to use public transportation if staying here?

This is located on busy Route 1. The commuter rail is about 4 miles away, and the blue line about 10 miles. I would look for other options closer to the city.

There is a Courtyard by Marriot located in Woburn, Ma. which is 3.5miles from the Anderson Commuter Rail Station which has service into North Station in Boston. The hotel web site says they have a complimentary shuttle.

I live about one mile from this place. Don't even think about staying there without a car. Assuming you are flying into Logan Airport and paln to "visit" downtown Boston, search for hotels near an MBTA (mass transit) station, or with a shuttle to one of those stations. You will then be able to travel economically and quickly (except during rush hours) to any place in Boston.
