Rain with Teenagers...

We have 4 nights booked at a very expensive house on the Tan Tar A estates. I just looked at the weather forecast and see nothing but rain for the Memorial Day week and weekend. I need ideas for our family of 4 if we truly do have 5 days in a row of rain. I know there's plenty of shopping, but I don't want to go home more broke than I have to. My "kids" are 18 and 20. I'm doomed aren't I?

All I'm seeing Saturday through Monday (at most) is a chance of storms, normal for this time of year. Unless something changes, this isn't a washout rain event, just normal Spring weather.

One option would be going to the "Buster's" side of Miner Mikes. It's a good-sized video arcade. The Miner Mike's side is for young kids - while the Buster's side has games that appeal more to teens.

A teenage girl would also enjoy going to the outlet mall in Osage Beach. I know our daughter did - and still does when we've been at the lake.

If they were 21 - I'd suggest wineries!

Tan-Tar-A has an indoor water park. Might be crowded. There is also Big Surf that is outside but would probably be open as long as it is not lightening. There is a movie theater and a couple of caves. Bring some board/card games too.
