We had a great trip! I am just going to write random thoughts because I tend to get all the days mixed up.
Very busy week...more people than we have ever seen.
Flew Allegiant and everything was great!
We stayed 1 night at Flamingo. they said they “upgraded” us from the new FAB room with a view to a Suite. great I thought. NOT... It was Rat Pack era old! Huge room would be perfect for a group of college kids! Huge TV and party room! Bed was comfy, though.
4 nights at Jockey Club. Nice 1 bedroom with kitchen. Small bathroom, but the whole room and been renovated. Easy access to Cosmopolitan with pool privileges and right next to the Bellagio. We did not have a view, but I didn’t spend lots of time in our room.
Pink’s HotDogs--- Had a Groupon so it was a good deal. Hubby liked is Brat more than I liked my Dog.
Holsteins Burgers--Groupon again! We liked it! I had an Almond Joy Shake!!! I would go back!
Jean Phillips pastries in Bellagio. OH so good. We bought 2 pastries late at night and ate them the next morning!!!!
Raffles at Mandalay Bay--Always good food. I had the Prime Rib sandwich. It was huge and very good. Hubby had turkey dinner and enjoyed it!
A Coffee Cafe in Cosmopolitan! Great Breakfast Panini.
The Palm in Caesar’s Palace---Went for Happy hour! Had Shrimp Cocktail and sliders. Both very good.
NYNY Pizza---good..we just always end up there.
Wow! I guess we didn’t eat much! I had lots of Bloody Mary’s with Olives, so I guess that counts and the Jockey Club had popcorn every day!
Body Exhibit at Luxor---- So interesting! Learned some things I can share with my students. Well worth it!
Blake Shelton Concert at MB Event center!!!! It was great! I do think that the acustics were not quite right, but I still enjoyed him!
Meet and Greet!!!
TofDadandT and Dad of T planned 2 Meet and Greets at the Seahorse Bar in CP. Had a great time both nights. Met some wonderful, crazy TA people. Thanks T and Dad! Hope to meet everyone again some day!
Went jogging with T and Dad of T. I could do that more often..it was fun to run off the night before.
Walked down memory lane all the way to Circus Circus and Slots of Fun for old times sake. Great memories. They haven’t changed much in the past 30 years! They weren’t as bad as I thought they would be.
Lots of crazy drunk people! Where do these 20 somethings get all the money??? I have 2 20 somethings and they don’t throw money around like that!
Girls need to add a few inches onto their dresses---you wouldn’t have to spend your evening pulling it down and then you could carry 2 huge drinks in your hands!!!!
If you are going to wear a dress in the wind...you might want to hold it down if it isn’t skin tight because the wind will catch it and you WILL give the people behind you a free peep show!
The Cosmopolitan will provide you a wheelchair if you drink toooo much and I think they may have needed lots of those this weekend! No.. not for me!
OShea's was very gross, but they probably don't care because they are going to tear it down soon. Had a frozen Bailey's there. It was good, but nothing I will miss when it is gone.
Bob at Bill's Bar inn Harrah's still makes the BEST Mudslide and Bloody Mary!
There are still lots of animals on the bridges and it really is sad.
Watched lots of basketball, but never a full game!
We walked everywhere! Only 2 cabs---1 from the Airport and 1 back to the airport.
Never made it Downtown..maybe next time.
We gambled at Harrah’s, Bill’s, Flamingo, CP, MB, Monte Carlo, Aria, Circus Circus, Slots of Fun, Mirage, Wynn, Paris, Casino Royale, and Cosmo.
I hit a Royal at the Cosmo and will have to pay taxes on it. Hubby had some smaller hits and could finally keep playing.
I asked my hubby when he wanted to go next and he just kind of rolled his eyes at me. I told him he didn’t have to go next time. I am thinking June or July!
