MB...drinks at the pool

Just wondering if MB allows outside drinks into the pool area. Any recent experience?

Inside the pool area they sell 32oz (I think) frozen cocktails for $20 in a refillable cup with refills for $15. I am drinking water from the cup at work right now!

Only water. You will have your bag searched. It's like getting into Fort Knox

No. At Fort Knox they search you more on the way OUT. :)

We were just there this week. They looked through my bag on the way in. They let me take my water in. My husband forgot his room key but they let him in even though the signs say everyone over 14 needs one to get in.

We bought the $20 refill cups too. You could get a smaller plastic cup for $13. Seemed a better value to buy the big cups.

We bought beers from the gift shop that we knew they sold at the pool bar and they let us in with those.

We went to the MB pool three different days in July. They didn't check out bag once. Must just depend on who is doing the checking!
