2 day stay in Reno with YMT please help

hi, we are going on a 15 day Your Man Tour, 8 day cruise Alaska and 7 day tour, 2 nights in RENO and no one can tell me what hotel YMT uses in RENO. Is there anyone in RENO that knows where YMT puts their tour people. Having a terrific hard time getting any answer from YMT.Does anyone in RENO, know of YMT and what hotels they use. All we can get out of them at this time is that we will be there 2 nights.

Can anyone help give us some answers.

thanks so much..

Hi again, is there anyone out there in RENO that works in a hotel that has a large population of YOUR MAN tour GUESTS FOR 2 DAYS. I have been trying to find out where YMT people stay. we will have 2 nights in RENO on our 15 day Norweign Star Cruise and Land tour. I would love to know where we will be staying so I can have some friends meet up with us, however, YMT states they can not give me an itinery until 45 days before we leave July 27.

I figure someone from RENO knows where YMT tours stay, so I am asking your forum for this help. Anyone work in a hotel that has YMT guests. Please acknowledge if you know.

Much appreciated.

Sorry you haven't gotten a reply. This forum doesn't get many hits. Why don't you call some of the hotels in Reno and ask?

Just a guess, but it is possible your tour company has not booked the Reno rooms yet. They may wait about 2 months out to get a better idea how many rooms they need, and to get the best deal.

I don't understand why 45 days before you get to Reno is not enough time to tell your friends which hotel to meet you, unless you don't know the dates.

thanks for trying, I guess 45 days is plenty, but since we have never been to the southwest, we want to look up all the places around to go to and check out all we can on the hotels, guess it is just the excitement of a huge trip coming and wanting to get all the info you can way ahead of time.

I can totally can relate. Half the fun of vacations is the planning and looking forward to the trip.

Just to let you know, Reno is not in the Southwest. It is very much the west, like the "Wild Wild West". Real cowboys in this area of the country. You can't compare a Texas Cowboy to a western cowboy.

Plan a trip to Virginia City and Tahoe. I think it is worth reading up on Virginia City and the history. Really interesting. Modern Marvels does TV shows on this area often because of the technology that came out of VC.

YMT will put you up in the cheapest hotel they can find. Did the Northwest Parks with them last year. The cruise to Alaska was wonderful. However the bus trip was long every day--count on 12 hours at least. The hotels were less than optimal, many were really pretty bad.

I will not travel with this company again.

If this a motorcoach arrival it is more than likly the Sands or Circus Circus....They are the two economy casinos in town.
