Breakfast tips anyone?

We will arrive in Cowes at around 9 after a good few hours on the road and ferry.

It would be great to start the day with a lovely breakfast so any tips and particularly personal recommendations would be welcome.

Fry up is fine but if there is anywhere that does someting a bit special that would be even better.

Thanks in anticipation.

Car ferry?? If so you will be in East Cowes. There are a couple of cafes in E.Cowes but I've never used them.

Personally I'd head into Ryde and go to Wetherspoons.- which is located in what was Fowlers department store, a lovely old building at the top of Union Street.

Not in Cowes, but if you ever want a really good full english breakfast elsewhere on the Island, then try http://godsprovidencehouse.com in Newport! Really reasonable and great start to the day :-)

Go to "Sails" in West Cowes High Street or to "Coast", opposite. Sails is a real cafe with good service and nice food. Coast is a bar which has a good kitchen. There are car parks near by too.
