There are a wide variety of accommodations in and around Hershey. The nicest and probably the most expensive would be the Hershey Hotel (http://www.thehotelhershey.com/). It would be very convenient staying there if visiting the park. I’ve not ever stayed there but I have family who has and they thought it was wonderful. If the Hershey Hotel is more than you want to spend, consider the Day’s Inn (http://www.daysinnhershey.com/). We did stay there several years ago and it was good but honestly I wish I could have stayed at the Hershey Hotel or the Hershey Lodge (http://www.hersheylodge.com/). Budget is the biggest factor in suggesting places to stay. The Hotel Hershey and the Hershey Lodge are nice; however, very pricey in season and often not within the budget of many travelers. If you don't mind giving a budget range, it would be helpful before suggesting places.

Some places to check would include :

Sleep Inn, 7100 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg

Comfort Inn, 5680 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg

Best Western, 7500 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg

Hampton Inn, 255 Bowl Creek Road, Grantville

Holiday Inn Express, 7744 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg

Country Inn & Suites, 8000 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg

Please note, these are based on location and budget, I have not personally stayed at any of them so you will want to check TA reviews.

If you want to stay under $150 both the Hotel and Lodge are out. Look at other hotels.

Wow. Talk about high season and pricey. I just checked the Marriott Courtyard on Chocolate Avenue, and in June and July, rooms are renting in the $300 range. When we were there for one week at the end of September, we paid $118 a night. Loved staying there.

@NYU62 - Hotel rates in Hershey definitely escalate during the summer. You can save significant money by staying only 20 minutes from Hershey.
