You can call any of the companies and they usually have a flat rate for airport trips. Some of the local companies are Yellow Cab and Green Taxi. We used one and it was $50 from West Ashley to the Airport and Folly Beach is about 10 more miles. Worked for us because we had 5 people and just divided the fare. Not sure if Uber is allowed at the airport now. It would probably be cheaper to rent a car and then be able to get around. It may be cheaper to rent a compact for the nights you are here than to pay a taxi both ways, even from downtown Charleston.
It's $51 to Folly from the airport.
You might want to rent a car for the time you are out there, unless you are smack dab where you enter the island, you will pretty much out of luck for transportation or getting to shops, restaurants, etc.
Check to see if you if you can pick up a car from Enterprise in the HD, then return it to the airport.
