Coming back to HHI for summer vacation this year, would like advice from locals on top three restaurants you would take a guest to show off HHI:

Please tell me your favorite:

Cheap Eats

Moderate Price ($10-20/pp)

Expensive Restaurant

As A local, I started this thread some time ago, and keep it up to date.

Others have also put some of their favorites on here.

I just ate at 10 restaurants over 5 days in Hilton Head and my favorite cheap/local restaurant is the Sea Shack. My favorite upscale restaurant was The Studio by a landslide. The service and food were spectacular.

Definitely go to Shelter Cove for dinner one night. The atmosphere in the marina is awesome and they have nightly music outside. Scotts has good seafood (and the best she crab soup), San miquels has good Mexican (great margaritas and fajitas) and Little Venice is Italian (I had a wonderful veal something last winter).

Old Fort Pub has good (expensive) food, but a limited menu - their sunsets are superb!!!

Sea Shack has great food and prices - no atmosphere.

Frankie Bones on Main Street is fabulous, but not an exciting atmosphere. Oh - too many great restuarants to mention.

Log onto: www.restaurnat.com, input HHI zip code (29928) and there may be some coupons. The Studio used have some on there.

Enjoy!!!

Bearsfan: Yup! Right now restaurant.com has a $25 dining certificate for only $2!!!! Great deal.

Blask: next time you go, if you like the Studio, check out this site for a certificate.

Most of us do a general "trip" review on this forum and then do a specific hotel/villa review under the actual hotel. If you stayed in a private rental, just do your review here.

We'd like to hear about your vacation from Day 1 to finish and everything in between.

Looking forward to reading it. I can't remember if it was you or not, but did you stay at the Hilton Oceanfront for one night prior to your rental?

Sorry, I meant to include the fact that the $25 dining certificate for $2 included one for The Studio.....
