Shipping motorcycle to Sturgis

Has anyone shipped a motorcycle from New Hampshire to Sturgis? With whom? How much did it cost? Do they pick up at your house? Are the dates flexible and is it both ways or one way?

Planning for 2015!!

Thanks!

Should be in the neighborhood of $700 to $900 and yes, you can have it picked up at your door (may cost a little more). Dates are *somewhat flexible--in most cases, they just try their best to get it delivered within the timeframe given. With the distance involved, that's not always easy. I did a little tour of the Midwest & had my bike shipped out there from California with these guys a1autotransport.com/services/motorcycle-ship… They were a little higher priced than some of the others, but they seemed to have a much better handle on the process. Hope this helps.

If you don't have your lodging booked yet, you might have to forget the whole thing. Don't make any other reservations like airlines, transporting your bike, etc. until you are sure you have a place to stay.
