Snoeshowing near Brattleboro

I will be up near Brattleboro next weekend. Are there any good areas to snowshoe in that are relatively easy? Thanks.

You can go up Route 9 west to Hogback Mountain which is an old ski area turned conservation land. Nice views up there.

I would ask around once you are up there, as there's certainly no shortage of snow anywhere! Perhaps there is a trail along the CT River that would be flat and therefore qualify as easy.

It's a short drive from Brattleboro, but a lovely one. There is snowshoeing in Grafton,VT. Grafton is a beautiful little town, which is worth the trip even without the snowshoeing.

There are some great places around Keene NH, Otter Brook, Goose Pond. In Swanzey Mt Caesar on Rt 32 is easy with a great view at the top. Many places along Rt 9 in southern VT have trail access.
