The Golden Eagle in Stowe has an indoor heated and an outdoor pool (doubt it's heated, but not sure). The rec paths in both BTV and Stowe are great to bike on with kids. The Echo Marine Museum in BTV is an option, as are the Stowe gondola and toll road.
How old are the kids? Can't help with pools...but kid stuff yes. Would help to know ages!
If interested in natural bodies of water instead of a pool, here's a link that mentions some great swimming holes in your areas of interest:
Green Mountain Inn in Stowe has an outdoor heated pool and it's a gorgeous hotel - we loved it! Around Stowe - Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour, Cider Mill (apples, cider and best cider donuts, good gifts to bring home with you), King Arthur Flour Mill (mostly for pastries and/or shopping for the baker in your life). Burlington - head to The Shelburne Museum which is an indoor/outdoor museum and a wonderful day with kids. Enjoy!
Thanks for the replies! Will take a look.
If you'd like a beach, Burlington has a nice family-friendly one, just outside of downtown:
There are some other public beaches too, but I haven't been to them.
I didn't realize Burlington had a nice beach. That looks like it would be worth going to.
Shelburne Farms is a great place with kids.
There are several nice beaches just north of Burlington's waterfront park, along the rec path. North Beach is great, and has various swings and other facilities too.
