Walking trails/sidewalks in Stafford?

I see lots of cars when I stop-(get stuck in traffic) in Stafford. Any places to walk/hike? I see 1 mention a trail (Governors Island).

Prince William Forest Park, near Quantico, I think is a National Park, of several square miles, with hiking trails.

If you have access to nearby Quantico Marine Base there is a good trail system. I recently walked the Northbank Trail along the scenic creek and a trail with a great name, Old Butts Trail, wooded and hilly with intersecting loop called Woodpecker. Both trailheads are close to the Crossroads Inn, Chapel, and Marsh Center on Russell Rd. Here is an article with additional information:
