Hello, my boyfriend and I are planning a trip this August. I have found a few things that look like fun like rudee rocket, dolphin kayak cruise, parasailing and the aquarium. What else would you recommend? We are trying to figure out how long to stay. We live down time relaxing on the beach but don’t want to do that majority of the day, every day. Thanks!

I've enjoyed visiting The Old Coast Guard Station, so I recommend that. I think it is now known as the Surf and Rescue Museum. There are several mini golf places. You could visit the Cape Henry lighthouse. I haven't been but there is the Chesapeake Bay Distillery, where tastings are offered. There's Ocean Breeze waterpark. Lots to do, depending on your interests.
Definitely rent a bike(there are places lined up and down the boardwalk) and ride the boardwalk. You could even rent one of the surrey bikes that you peddle together that have a canopy over it. They/re a lot of fun and a good way to explore. For a tasty breakfast or weekend brunch, drive down to Pungo and go to the Bee and the Biscuit, There is always a wait but it is delicious!
If the Norfolk Tides are home, it's just a ride down the interstate to Harbor Park. They are an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
The Military Aviation Museum is a ride, but it is worth a visit.

How about iFly World? It's an indoor sky-diving experience.

What are forum guidelines?If you are the adventurous type, I would suggest the The Adventure Park at Virginia Aquarium. My son loves the trails and these are some of the best on the East Coast. Definitely something to look in to for fun.....
