Day Trip from Olympia

I'm going to take a day trip from Olympia going up route 101 to 104 and then down to Bremerton and back to Olympia. Any suggestions as to what to see along the way or a good restaurant to stop and have lunch?

It'd be a shame to come so close to Port Townsend and not stop in and say "Hi". Have a hot dog at Dogs-a-Foot.

There are lots of places along the Hood Canal to sample yummy, fresh oysters.

Kitsap Memorial SP is a nice place for picnic with good views of the water and Olympics.

If its clear, drive to the top of Mt. Walker near Quilcene and you'll see a view of Seattle I bet you've never seen before.

There's 150' Rocky Brook Falls near Brinnon. Easy to get to, short hike:

When is your drive?

Have fun,

chuck.
