How "walker" friendly is this town? Are there benches on the main st?

Where would you be walking to? There is a park and some restaurants and shops on the lakefront that are easy to walk around. The downtown area is very compact.

I don't know what store you are talking about. Some parts of Port Washington are hilly, so if that's a problem I would imagine you can park right at the store. Port Washington is not congested, so parking is easy.
