Fun place to stop on way to Yellowstone

Surprisingly enough there is a lot to do in Cody. We only stayed 1 day and 2 nights but we did a lot. Rodeo, one of the best. Buffalo Cody Dam. Buffalo Bill encouraged the govement to build not a power dam but an irrigation dam. This little dam supplies water for all the farms in the area and more. The Irma Hotel is a fun place to go and see and also eat. The trolley is a bit expensive but worth it for the information. Cody was a smart man he built his hotel in the middle of no where. Yet if you want to get to Yellowstone by the east you must pass through Cody.
