You may want to skip the Lobster for a while

For all the visitors to Boston over the next few months, you might want to re-think the lobster rolls and clam bakes. Maybe a nice plate of baked ziti in the North End instead?

Thanks for posting BeantownMan! I saw this article in today's Globe and thought of recent posts from people looking forward to trying a lobster roll while visiting Boston! Maybe some haddock instead??

I recommend a fried scallop roll as a delicious substitute.

I'd go for some clam cakes and a bowl of RI-style chowder. YUM.

I had one of the best scallop rolls at Pepe's Wharf in Provincetown a couple of years ago. You should try it.

Uh oh. We have a big lobster roll quest coming up middle of May. Got all sorts of advice on the Maine board.

We better take out more cash!

I think when the weather calms down there will be more lobsters available. It's been a rotten spring for lobstermen. It would also be great if China liked them less...
