Cedar Breaks road opening

We are planning a trip thru southern Utah and will be heading from Mesquite, NV up to Bryce. We have been to Zion previously and think we will skip it this trip because we want to see Bryce, Capitol

Reef, and Arches. Anyway, I was thinking about driving up to Cedar City, then thru Cedar Breaks, then continuing up to Panguitch and into Bryce. This will be the first week in May, and now I am wondering if the road is open, is the Visitor Center is open, etc. that time of year?

Thank you

No way of knowing what the roads will be like 8 months in advance. According to the official website for Cedar Breaks, the visitor center doesn't open until late May.
