Emeril's

We ate here last night.....everything was excellent!

Service was great. They didnt hover around constantly bugging you but at the same time were back enough to make sure you didnt need anything else. Very friendly staff. Another thing I liked was that the tables werent right on top of each other. This is what we had(approximate price)

Appetizer: we shared fried calamari($10)

Entree: Me - 6oz filet ($30) Husband - N.Y.Strip(about $40)

Side: We shared truffle oil/parmesan potato chips....yummy!($6)We had these at Delmonico's in Vegas and loved them there. You have to try these!

Bottle of Wine - $35

The casino was actually quite busy for a Monday night. I really expected it to be a ghost town(lol). But I did manage to come home a winner! So had a great night at the Sands.

I'm not a gambler but the rumors of good food at Emeril's was enough to lure me in. I went with several friends and we had one of the best meals I've ever had. The calamari was out of this world!

We just had dinner there on Sunday for my husband's birthday. I'd held off on visiting because the reviews have been so hit or miss (not the food, but the service). We were pleasantly surprised that we enjoyed it so much. The food was awesome & our service, while a bit slow at times, was impeccable. The only thing that bothered me was the noise level. The acoustics are a bit off in the restaurant, so between kitchen noise, folks being loud & rumbles from the casino floor, it's not what I'd chose for a romantic night out.

It's our most expensive meal to date in the LV. We'd definitely go back, but we tend to do a lot more sub $70 dinners than these higher end ones, so my guess is it'll be a while before we make it back (our bill before tax & tip was $150 - 4 drinks (2 each), 1 salad, 1 appetizer, two steaks, two sides & two desserts).

Emeril’s new Burger shop was open earlier tonight. You can get a burger there for about $12-14. You can link to the menu from here:

The Carnegie Deli was also open. One pastrami on rye, ($14), was enough for 3 of us. [Parking and/or tolls to get to the Manhattan location can cost that much!] It was very good. See link to their menu here:

It was sure filling up! We gave up about 8 pm Saturday, as it was getting mobbed. Crowds are not really our thing, especially after we also had a great time slouching around Bethlehem earlier—nice town with some very interesting restaurants! We had a great lunch at Nawab!

Happy Thanksgiving!
