Is a 2 hour stopover sufficient at Atlanta?

I am arriving at ATL from J'brg by Delta and have a connecting flight by Delta once again to IAD. Is this time sufficient? What all activities do I need to do considering both arrival and departure are in South Terminal but the gates not known.

go to the atlanta forum page, and then look to your right at the "frequent questions about Atlanta", there is a very thorough discussion on your question.

This should be sufficient time, but you shouldn't dawdle. You'll have to go through customs & immigration, then back through security, then board the train to the concourse for your flight to to IAD. The IAD flight will begin boarding 25-30 minutes before departure. For a thorough discussion on the customs & immigration process, you can see the FAQ on this forum. Also, Delta will show a film on board before you land that shows the process quite clearly.

Also - I'm not sure why you posted this in the Kennesaw forum. Kennesaw is a suburb north of Atlanta. The airport is about an hour and a half south of Kennesaw.
