We will be arriving at Logan Airport around 10:00 p.m.. What is the best way to get to the Chales Hotel in Cambridge?
If I were doing it, I'd take the T (Silver Line to South Station, Red Line to Harvard Square), but you might prefer to take a cab.Edited: 29 September 2011, 03:26
How much do you think a cab would cost? We are coming from LA and will be tired by then.
I would guess around $40-50. There's a tool available somewhere on the Web for calculating approximate cab fares in Boston. Somebody might post the link here, or I'm sure a little creative searching would turn it up.
The taxi fare should be right around $40-45 including the tunnel toll, airport fee, and a tip for the driver. Although public transportation is reliable and under $2 per person, you might find the cab a good way to go after a long flight from the west coast, especially with luggage.
