My husband and I decided to take a cruise for our 35 year anniversay. We scheduled several months in advance and booked on Royal Caribbean's Adventures of the Seas Ship. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip due to the personnel were so kind and helpful as well as caring that it was our Anniversary celebration. We could not have asked for a better team to take care of our cabin and our meals, thanks to Michael and Florence. They attended to our every whim to make our dinners the best we could have asked for. Wanting to go again soon!

After 2 years in the Covid trap house I just had to get out! We took the cheapest and closest cruise just to escape. We went out of Galveston and it was a 5 day cruise. I wanted to be treated like a princess and they did a pretty good shot at it. We had been on longer and more expensive cruises but that was a few years ago. I was surprised that there were so many children on the ship, a FEW of them were even well supervised. The food was good but our waiter and asst. waiter were excellent. The inside cabin was postage stamp size and we will never do that again. The trip did solve my problem of being stuck at home though.

OMG this has been a horrible stressful experience and we have not even gotten onboard yet! I booked this as a gift and Im stuck as it is so anticipated - 1st: they canceled my cruise without any notification for a $78 balance I did not even know about! I spent 5 hours between their horrible "customer service call center" having glitches and cutting audio. After numerous calls and holds and glitches I finally got a resolution supervisor who had to spend over 3 hours trying to figure it out and get rebooked. She could not get all my extras I booked WAY in advance back the way I had it so she had to plead on my behalf to get a cruise credit to cover the difference. Now I am still waiting for over $1111.00 in refunds and it has been nearly a month! My son loves cruises but he will need to like another cruise line. I cannot see ever booking a RCCL cruise again with how horrible this experience has been. I am sitting here writing this during my very busy day after spending all this time going over all my am ex statements and auditing against my cruise purchases and Im in my 45 mins of hold so far for this round - still no person. They are not going to get people back this way for sure!

I am leaving on my trip April 6. I am already very disappointed with customer service. I called to find out why the drink package was not as advertised, and the person kept sayng give him 3 minutes and he would find out. I was on hold for 40 minutes when I asked to talk to a supervisor. then after an hour he said he was tranfering me to a supervisor and the phone got disconnected. They asked for my number "in case the phone got disconnected' and after being on hold for and hour and disconnected NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. I called again because very frustrated and explained I did not plan on holding for an hour again and could they have a supervisor call me back. I was on hold for 20 minutes when she said she would call me back when she had a supervisor. Then after 20 minutes she called me back and said she would transfer me to a supervisor which was disconnected again. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. They had my number because they had just talk to me. I wrote and email explaining my frustrating that one one has even called me back, I dont think this was to much to ask. Two days later I still have not heard from anyone. I have never sailed on Royal Caribbean before but my expectation is very low if they cant even give you a call about an issue.

Warning. This will get a wee bit lengthy. My wife and I just got off the Adventure on Monday. This was our 20th cruise with Royal Caribbean in addition to several on other cruise lines. I tell you this not to brag, but to establish our level of experience with RCCL before I tell you our story. We have been on all sizes of ships and in all regions of the world except Asia/Pacific. We have sometimes had excellent food and service, and very occasionally average food and service. We have not cruised in 2 years for obvious reasons. We kept asking ourselves if our experience was because it had been so long since we had cruised or was it really THAT GOOD? Every single staff and crew on the Adventure seemed so excited to have people on board again. They genuinely seemed to want to do whatever they could do to make our experience the best we had ever had. And it was. There are almost too many to name individually. Our cabin steward, Elenore, was absolutely the best we had ever had. Everything was handled, some things before we even had a chance to ask. And she was an absolute ghost. I mean that in the best way possible. If we needed her or had a question, there she was. If we didn’t need her, she was nowhere to be seen. How does she do that? We are Diamond+ so we know a little about lounges. But it was our first time to be in a Grand Suite. The suite concierge, Maria (and Elenore’s sister), was so friendly and helpful. She helped us with everything. Marvin, bar tender in the suite, was a mind reader. He literally brought us the drinks we wanted before we had a chance to ask. Okay, the food. OMG!! As I said earlier, we have had very good food on many RCCL ships. I had heard that the best chefs were always assigned to the newest and biggest ships. Adventure was beautifully maintained. Everything looked and worked perfectly. But it is not the biggest or newest ship in the fleet. All in my group agreed that this was the absolute best food we had ever had on a cruise. We went in trying not to over do it. We told ourselves that we had had most of these dishes time and again. Just eat a few bites and move on to the next dish. Right. Every appetizer, every main course, every desert. Again, OMG! And our food staff was also terrific. Our waiter, Ronilo, and asst. waiter, Andrii (from Ukraine ☹) were great. Head waiters Sandeep and Vanya also contributed significantly to our experience. We had a chance to talk to the head of Food and Beverage, Christophe, and told him all these things. He is doing something very right. We even got a chance to talk to Francois, the Hotel Director. As a mater of fact, we saw him on a number of occasions. Don’t know how he managed to remain so accessible and still run such a terrific ship. What a hard worker. It is certainly very effective. Okay, so now you think I’m a shill for the company. There had to have been something that was not ‘fantastic’. To be honest, we were not totally enthused by the stock in the shops, but we blamed that on supply chain issues. The entertainment was good but not a home run like service and food. Once again, these guys are trying to get things up and running again. Let’s give them a little time. I’m not really a fan of Progresso as a destination but hey, that just meant we got to spend more time on the ship enjoying the service and food. Overall, it was the best cruise we’ve ever been on. As I write this, my wife is poring over websites trying to get us back on this ship before it moves on at the end of April. Great job guys!

I cruised to Mexico in Jan 2022. This was my first time, and I was nervous. That went away during my first few hours of being on the ship. It was so clean and not crowded. The stateroom workers were AMAZING. So attentive and personable. I am definitely going to cruise with Royal Caribbean again! I would like to shout out Eduardo, Eartha, Blydon, Marvin, Desiree, Bernadette and Wen for best service. I would also like to shout out Felix and RJ for most entertaining!
