Don't check in online for this flight. Spent 1 hour waiting for 5 people in front of me to drop bags. Even though I had boarding passes they were printed again for me. The people checking in were passing through 4X quicker.

Once again a good flight and experience. The inflight service was very good.
The terminal at Dublin was very busy and it was difficult to get seating in the departure lounge.

We flew for the first time with Are Lingus from Brussels via Dublin to Newark, for a short holiday on our way back to Canada. Our luggage did not arrive at Newark, after we were told multiple times it would be automatically transferred. There was a Are Lingus agent waiting at the luggage deposit (expecting passengers luggage to be delayed) and there was approximately 6 passengers suitcases not arrived on our flight. When we asked why all our suitcases were delayed, the agent said "It happens all the time and i don't know why". We filled out a form at the customer service desk and we were told to wait for a call. After two days of not hearing from Are Lingus, we called and they still had not found our luggage (we were in New York on holiday for five days without any luggage). We called each day for an update and on our last day FINALLY heard from Aer Lingus telling us our luggage would arrive in New York after we left on our flight back to Canada. Aer Lingus did well in getting the suitcase back to us in Canada to our door step, but it took 9 days after it was due for us to receive it back.

Flight attendants very polite and welcoming. Legroom on planes always stinks unless you pay more. Great selection of movies and music. Pretty clean, and food didn't taste like cardboard. The only bad part was a screaming child running up and down the aisle for 6 hours straight, but that is out of their control.

Good value, very efficient staff, in flight meal and snacks are quite good for airline food. Each seat has own movies and games. Pillow blankets and headsets are provided .
