We had a great flight experience, I slept all the way except when the food arrived (which was not bad at all!)!
We flew PAP-MIA-BCN.
The staff worked hard to keep us comfortable & entertained for the long flight. No drama!

As always American takes care of its customers. Polite attendants and crew. We were delayed on our return flight but it was a good flight.

Had an awful experience a number of years ago and vowed never to do it again, but having limited choice went with the cheaper option. Flight was on time, still no legroom, but free headsets for a good seat back entertainment system, a drink and a biscuit. Arrived ahead of schedule to the nightmare of MIA immigration, 2 hours later at least the bags were waiting for us, not AA's fault, but MIA is even worse than JFK which is saying something.

After a surprisingly good outgoing leg, we actually felt pretty optimistic about the return leg...oh what a mistake. Have to use the automated machines at MIA - which ran out of luggage tags and only printed 2/3 boarding tags, told to go to check-in who would correct it by AA staff. Nope - had to queue for check in to be told they could not help me. Left husband and son at desk and went back to machines to try again - had to get a boarding pass re printed at another desk. Delay of at least 20 minutes resolving issues. Checked in - joined another queue for security, 45 minutes later got through, a 30 minute walk to gate followed (no indication on how long it takes), sat and waited. Plane was at the gate so felt pretty relaxed about being on time. Announcement made that there was a slight delay for extra security checks, boarding time arrives, when we are told there is an issue with the tyre that needs replacing, 45-60 minute delay. 15 minutes later, we are told to change gates from D49 to D20, yes another significant 2 stops on sky train and another walk. Told are now 17:45 departure time would be 19:15. Eventually got on board at 19:45, and left after 20:15. Arrived back in Barbados just before midnight. Have subsequently been told not to take that flight as it is always delayed! Back to JetBlue whatever the cost next time!

Flying done right. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience. Took an American Eagle flight from smaller regional airport to O'Hare/ORD then to Vegas, check in was a breeze, no parking hassles and excellent service from ground and flight crew. Would strongly recommend flying American Airline to everyone.
