Easy jet fly out of the Billi terminal at Bordeaux airport.

We had been pre warned it left a lot to be desired so went into the mainly empty terminal 2 for a snack and drink and to wait in comfort. With an hour left we went into the Billi terminal . As cabin luggage only customers we were guided through the entrance while hold luggage people had to wait outside in 32 degree temps under a small shade.
Once inside it was very busy going through security then through duty free to the waiting area ...far too few basic chairs outside the two toilets which had a permanent queueat them. You could fill your water bottle outside the toilets but so many people were standing around or sitting on the floor as there was very little space. The ladies toilet queue ended up backing into the passport queue...chaos
At the end of the big shed there is a cafe but we found lots of the table seating had been bagged by travellers who weren't eating.
Having no option but to wait to be called to our gate we hung around. Our gate was only called 15 minutes before take off so we set off an hour late. Do not go to your gate early - it's in an unair-con area up and down flights of stairs and there are few seats and even fewer facilities there. I didn't even see toilets but luckily we went straight onto the plane.

Malcolm the on-flight manager was excellent. I couldn’t fault him. He was pleasant, understanding and very experienced, He had a great manner and I have flown 100’s of flights and I would say he is the best manager I have flown with.

Horrific customer service from easy jet! They claim you can cancel your holiday up to 60 days before without charge which is completely untrue. We had to remove a family member from our group booking and the price doubled for the remaining passenger…. Doesn’t sound like you can cancel for free! Spent 20 minutes waiting to talk to manager so far with no response! Disgusting behaviour

We were due to fly on the 1st June from Edinburgh to Bodrum but the aircraft was delayed by over an hour. When we were told we could board the aircraft, there was fuel spilling out so we were sat on the aircraft for over 4 hours, we were told that we would need to fly to Milan to get the part, (on a aircraft that was leaking fuel) but would not be able to fly to Bodrum as the aircraft was not servicable. after another couple of hours, we were told that we could not fly and the flight had been cancelled. We were told to depart the aircraft and wait for instructions in the airport. we wre then told that we would be put on another flight the next day at 9am. still had to wait in the airport until nearly 11pm to get a hotel for the night, we arrived at the hotel at nearly 11.30pm. We were told to follow the instructions on the claims form and after doing so, nearly a month later, i got my compensation but they said i couldnt claim for my husband even though i am the lead passenger and paid from my card. We are getting lots of excuses from Easyjet saying he has been paid, but he has not, They continue to say it is the wrong bank details, the wrong flight number etc. I have escalated this to ADR and Martin Lewis.

My first time booking with easy jet and I am absolutely disgusted with this company. I was due to fly out of Manchester on august 1 at 19:10. Without any notice, at round 19:15 the flight was suddenly cancelled. I was told by a member of staff at the airport to go on the easy jet app and it would let me book a new flight. The earliest flight available was on 3rd August (nearly 48 hours later!). Easy jet provided me with 1 night in a hotel. However, my new flight was 2 days later so I needed a hotel for 2 nights. I asked members of the easy jet team at the airport if they could give me an extra night in the hotel or book me on earlier flight. They said they were unable to do this and all booking requests must be made through ringing customer services. I have tried ringing easy jet customer services so many times and cannot get through. Even easy jet staff at the airport tried to ring easy jet customer services and could not get through! The only advice given me to me from the easy jet staff at the airport was to pay for my own hotel room and then try and claim it back.
I am disgusted by the lack of support from this company. They have cancelled flights and not made it possible for people to contact them to find alternative arrangements. I have flown with many other airlines who are happy to help- but easy jet is definitely not one of these companies.
I will never fly with easy jet again and would not recommend this company to anyone!
