It might be not one of the luxuries airlines, but I consider i one of the best airline n all services especially the technical ones.

We decided on Egyptair because the business class tickets to Bangkok were super cheap. The checking in and boarding process was effective. The on-board service (including food and attentiveness of crew) was good and the seats were comfortable. Due to the long layovers in each direction, the airline arranged visas and booked us into the Le Meridian Hotel, full board at their expense. We often fly Egyptair due to price and good service.

Negatives: The airline's business lounge at Cairo Airport is not very good and the amenity kit is inferior - the worse I have seen in any long haul business class.

Surprisingly good flight and helpful staff. The plane was an older A330, but nonetheless very comfortable and relaxing flight. Due to religious reasons, alcohol were not served and certain types of movies were not allowed. The orange and guava juices were delicious, but the in-flight movie selection was somewhat limited.

One funny and memorable moment was when they were serving breakfast, I opted for omelette and asked for ketchup. To my surprise, instead of giving me a packet, I was given a big bottle ketchup (see picture). Hahaha.

Avoid Egyptair as the crew are usuals and service is awful, the crew are lazy and very slow in there customer service duties. Egyptair has to be at the bottom end of the star alliance group.

On board service ,the food is horrible and drinks are out of large bottles and cartons and are served in cheap plastic white cups like at a children’s party.
The crew use their hands to serve ice cubes in to the plastic cup, the same hands are used to handle bottles and cartons of drinks and food trays absolutely disgusting and disgraceful.

The crew do not service or refresh the toilets as this semis to be beneath them.

Take the flight, avoid the long drive. There is plenty of time to view the site. We used an on site guide, it was great.
