On 20th December 23 on the date of my flight, I checked the Malaysia Airline App for flight timing. The app notified me that the timing had changed from 10 PM to 5 PM. Immediately I contacted Malaysian Airlines customer service who confirmed the same.
I have had this discussion with Malaysian Airlines customer care at least 3 times and each time they informed me that the timing has been changed to 5 PM. One customer service provider went as far as re-booking my flight to 25/12/23 which was unexceptionable to me and I decided to rush to Sydney somehow to board the flight.
Initially, I planned to take the Murray Bus from Canberra at 4 PM to catch my flight at 10 PM (ticket booked well in advance and attached for reference) however frightened I had to book a UBER from Canberra to Sydney to catch my flight, which cost me $472.16. I also had to pay the UBER driver another $100 as he asked for more money to make such a long trip as I was in such a hurry that I obliged. And my initial bus ticket cost me $49 which was wasted due to all these issues. Costing me a total of $619 (all attached).
