Review of Southwest Airlines

This is the airline that I always fly. They are so great to deal with every time. The staff is always pleasant and I feel totally safe with them.

Tried to book Early bird 48 hours before our flight departed, and for some reason, we weren't eligible. After calling and waiting on hold for over 45 minutes we ended the call. We tried contacting customer service again and an unprofessional assistant could not even help us. She kept saying "You have to check in for early bird 36 hours before" even when we told her we tried 2 days before. Multiple persons in our group have major anxiety and they couldn't even help us out with that. Terrible customer service, and terrible flight organization

I visited US for family vacation we booked several flight with Southwest (Buffalo - Orlando , Orlando to Columbus & Columbus to Chicago ) the reason for selecting Southwest was cost of course !! which was the reason I was little skeptical however I have complete change of opinion now .
Highly professional staff , comfortable seats and good drinks options . You also have complimentary drinks or you can buy cocktails for just $5.
They have an option to choose your seat and you are not allocated seat initially. Passenger with below 6 year old child gets preference post "A" class passenger . So no need to worry if you are travelling with children .

Arranged for a late flight from Phoenix to San Jose and everything went smoothly. Making a reservation was easy and I was able to print a boarding pass. Definitely a plus for me. Got an A group boarding number and was able to get an aisle seat. Lots of room for my carry on bag. The flight attendants were friendly and made the flight pleasant. Flight left the ground and arrived on time.

Southwest Airlines is good enough to get you there and back. First, they allow 2 free checked bags per person, plus a personal bag and a carry on. The seats are first come first serve, so if you want leg room or wing seats, you need to book at the business select price which will guarantee you a boarding position of 1 to 15, which means you could be first or up to the 15th person to board, Keep in mind however, people who claim to be preboarders get on first. So, if you can suffer through your flight without the frills ( they even offer free water, soda, coffee, tea and snacks), why waste 200 or even 300 hundred dollars or more on a namebrand airline who gives you an assigned seat? Try it, it is simple, bare bones, but you get to where you are going. Save the money you would have spent on the name brand airline and spend it when you get there. It is good enough.
