The staff at the reception desk were not reliable; poor information was provided to me throughout my stay. When my aunt arrived at the hotel, the taxi wanted to charge $40 for transportation from the airport to hotel for only one person. I had called the hotel days prior in order to know what the average price for a taxi was and they informed me that it was $20 per person. When you go to the website for Ocean Club Resorts it states that the price for a taxi ranges from $18 to $20. During my stay my family and I wanted to make a reservation for the restaurant Infinity so I called the front desk with four days of anticipation. However, when I got to the restaurant with my family no reservation had been done. Also, the day before our departure from Turks and Caicos I called the receptionist to schedule a taxi for my family and me. The next day when we went to checkout, the reservation for the taxi was not done. We wanted to do Kayaking but all of the kayaks had been sent to Ocean Club West and none were left for the guests at Ocean Club East. Finally, the hotel only gives a
$10 breakfast voucher for extremely overpriced food. They overcharge you if you do not pay attention to the charges being made. I have to say the beach is incredible and the security guard from the beach Wilgo, the guys from the shuttle, and the guys at the main entrance were always very helpful and courteous.
