We have been visiting T&C since before we were married, and in recent years with our two children. This hotel is on a pristine section of beach, it has a quiet pool area, and our room was gorgeous—with a breathtaking view and a nicer kitchen than we’ll probably ever have at home! It’s perfectly located with walkable access to the supermarket and to restaurants in town. The service was excellent. The last day they were extremely flexible in letting us stay until our flight, to soak up a few more hours of sunshine. Then, when it was difficult to get a taxi, the manager kindly drove us himself to the airport and refused any payment. It was our first family trip since the pandemic and we are so grateful for the amazing experience. We’ll be back. Thank you!

We ended up at Le Vele by chance after the hotel we'd booked had an unexpected power outage. We received a warm welcome from the team and feel fortunate to have ended up here for 12 nights!

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a beautiful pool and BBQ area, located right on the seafront - the perfect spot for visitors who are looking for a slightly more personal experience than some of the larger hotels nearby.

The staff were great. Clayton, in particular, was an absolute delight and clearly cares a huge amount about his guests' experience. He was quick to resolve a couple of minor issues we had, assisted us with a challenge we had with an external tour provider that we'd booked ourselves and kindly allowed us to check out late on our final day. Housekeeping was also extremely thorough.

Our only suggestions would be: 1) to ensure some of the minor niggles in the bedrooms are fixed (e.g. our bathroom door was very tricky to shut) and 2) to consider installing some darker curtains on blinds as we struggled to sleep past dawn.

We'd happily recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area and hope we'll get the chance to return again.

The first time I came to Le Vele was 10 years ago and multiple visits later it is still my and my family's happy place. It is beautiful and peaceful, and yet family friendly. I've been here with my son when he was 1, 4 and now 7 years old and he has always had a great time. Everyone from Clayton who manages everything beautifully, to Joshua at the beach is top notch. Always friendly and helpful if needed. We always stay in a 2 bedroom corner unit and love the ground floor west, but if you are higher you have a more expansive view of the water. There is no restaurant or bar but this totally works for me. It is so close to great restaurants which you can walk to. I always start with my son walking to a close one on the beach and then each time say, 'Oh it is just past the last one". That way you work up to the farther ones. But there is nothing like walking the beach to where you are going to eat. Then taxi back and relax! And, lastly, the beach is never crowded and you never have someone sitting between you and the water. I hate the thought of having to strategically get a chair saved. No need for that here!
