Just returned from our seventh trip to the Seven Stars. You would think after so many stays I wouldn't have more to say, but each time I come back, I am even more impressed by the level of attentiveness, the level of service, and how well this resort is maintained that I have to write another review. I can tell you without a doubt this is truly our happy place.
Every single staff member we came across this trip was so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make our trip great--even from before our arrival! Nadono was instrumental in helping us book this family vacation and help to make sure all of our rooms were oceanfront and within the same building (this was the first time we were bringing all of our children and grandchildren with us), and Lorraine and Dominique also assisted us with booking dinner reservations and a glass bottom boat tour before we even landed on island.
Once we arrived, all of the front desk staff and bell men rushed to greet us, get us rum punch and cool towels (which we GREATLY appreciated since we were long delayed and our luggage was lost!), and help us settle in. Each and every time we walked through that lobby, they were joyful and made us feel like we were their top priority. I wish I was better at remembering names, but Sharick, Spernada, Dreadlyne, Evendel, Reynaldo, Adrian, and Danielle were all super friendly and helpful (but I know there were others!!). The ladies in the gift shop helped to point me in the right direction to find an appropriate wardrobe for dinners out when our luggage didn't arrive for a few days, and the beach staff helped to get us toys that were left behind by others for our grandchildren to play with since what we packed also hadn't arrived.
We were happy to see that Lila, Don, Carolyn, Jaque, and O'Nick were all still there. They were all wonderful, but Lila and Carolyn definitely went above and beyond for us the entire week that we were there. My grandkids were back and forth between the pool and the beach so much that they were hard to keep up with but Lila and Carolyn were so good about keeping up with us--we were never without them smiling and checking in with us and asking us if we needed something. I felt like we literally didn't have to wait 5 minutes if we wanted a drink or something to eat. It honestly felt like we were family. Both Lila and Carolyn also went out of their way to come and give us all hugs on our last day there to say goodbye. That's just beyond a regular level of service, in my opinion.
Housekeeping was also outstanding. They came twice a day to clean/turn down and provide extra water/towels/ toiletries/necessities upon request. This was especially helpful on our first day when our luggage was lost. Pradeesh (I may have spelled that wrong--sorry if I did) gave us dental kits, extra laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, etc. to get us through until our luggage came. He was also so kind. Our rooms were immaculate each day when we returned to the room.
The folks at breakfast each morning were also so friendly--Norven had my children and grandchildren entertained, and the hostesses joked with me and my husband every day. My husband is still talking about how much he misses the omelet station. I think that might be the real reason he books this trip every year, to be honest. He's a total breakfast guy, and he lives for this breakfast buffet. It's beyond.
I could probably go on for about another hour about all of the amazing things about this place. But you're probably tired of reading. I will end by saying my daughters have heard us talking about this place for 6 years now, and they've clearly had high expectations based on how we've spoken about the SS over the years. They were NOT disappointed. Both want to book their next trip back now. It's just a very special place.
