“A Five Star Pet Friendly Cottage in a Perfect Location for Exploring Northumberland.”
Reviewed 30 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This is a 5 Star Pet friendly Cottage with a huge WOW factor. As you walk through the door you know that the owner cares that your dogs enjoy their holiday as much as you. The cottage ticks every box for a dog owner with wooden floors, a secluded garden and a conservatory. The cottage is spotlessly clean throughout and upstairs you have comfy down filled duvets and fluffy white towels. The added touches that the owner provides are the best you will ever see with pamper packs for you and your dogs, fresh flowers in the hallway and maps and information booklets on the area. The cottage is perfectly located for exploring Northumberland.

“My wife's 50th birthday treat”
Reviewed 20 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

What can I say but brilliant, from the moment we stepped through the door our stay at this cottage was just pure bliss. I'd arranged with Yvonne the owner of the cottage flowers, balloons for a supprise for my wife Alison's 50th & it was certainly the wow factor so thanks Yvonne for the time & effort in making my wife's birthday one to remember & the pressie you left for her was very touching & thoughtful. The cottage itself is just bliss with everything you could wish for plenty of space for everyone & milly our retriever even had a goodie bag of treats. If you want a quality relaxing holiday home this is the place because even though it's a holiday rental they have created the perfect home from home feel with a touch of class. All the rooms are of great size @ beautifully decorated & furnished throughout. Thanks for the memories Yvonne we will be back at some point.

Thank you very much Colin for your lovely comments. I was really pleased to read that Alison thoroughly enjoyed her 50th birthday and the surprise birthday items, I was more than happy to assist in arranging those extra treats that made the occasion special for her. I'll look forward to welcoming you all back to Ceolwulph Cottage at some point in the future.

A superb cottage in a lovely setting in the delightful village of Warkworth. The cottage is extremely luxurious and spotless throughout. There is nothing to fault about the house and we have had the best holiday ever. The owners even made the dog feel welcome with a basket of goodies and doggy towels, very handy after a walk to the beach. Will be returning soon.

“Great cottage, great location, great holiday!”
Reviewed 7 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We stayed for a week with our two teenage sons, and had a fabulous time. The owners have obviously gone to considerable effort to make guests' stays as comfortable as possible, yet they strive to improve even further, which is always encouraging. We would thoroughly recommend.

“Ceolwulph is a beautiful cottage ideally positioned for exploring Northumberland”

Ceolwulph is a beautiful cottage situated in Warksworth. The cottage itself is immaculately presented and fully equipped with everything you could need. It is dog friendly (as a dog owner I spend a lot of time looking for cottages that are lovely and will take them) Ceolwulph is up there with the best!
If you have a toddler don't bother packing any toys or games they are all there, discreetly hidden in the lovely kitchen sideboard, stairgates both at top and bottom of staircase. Lots of books, dvds, info on walks and what to do etc for the grown ups, playstation and games for children. Yvonne the owner is lovely, she rang on our arrival to make sure everything was ok which it was, but she is always on hand if you have any questions or problems.
