Arrived late to a chilled bottle of wine and a warm hot tub.
What more could you ask for?
Fabulous Residence lodge even has a tv in the bath.
Fresh bathrobes, pool towels, welcome postcard & lollies and chocolates on our pillow.
Kids looking forward to meeting the animals at Feadon Farm again and to climbing at Base Camp.
Feeling relaxed already...

Just returned from our second visit to Gwel an Mor. We had an absolutely outstanding time. It says it all that by our third day we went to reception and booked another two week holiday. Our lodge was well equipped, very clean and cosy with stunning views. The whole resort is beautifully maintained. Reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the Terrace restaurant was delicious and very well presented and it was nice to have plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. I had a very relaxing facial in the spa and we made full use of the pool facilities. My husband played golf on the new course which he was very impressed with. The highlight of our visit was the night walk with Gary at Feadon Farm. Gary is incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about wildlife and we had a wonderful evening including flying an owl at dusk and hand feeding the foxes. It is lovely to be able to walk through the woods to the beach in only a few minutes or drive for a few miles to many beautiful and interesting places. It is obvious that a huge amount of investment has gone in to the resort and we look forward to holidaying here for many years to come. We highly recommend a visit - you will not regret it.

Sussex Lady,

Gosh what a great review! thank you.

Our aim is always to have all our guests want to come back again and again, and to hear you booked again before you left is great to hear.

Glad your Husband was impressed with our new golf course, it really is very special I think and considering its only just been completed looks stunning! and yes we have invested and continue to do so, to make sure Gwel an Mor stays the best place to stay in Cornwall.

Gary is always a credit to us as well, and I will pass on your positive comments about our restaurant to all of our team.

Look forward to seeing you back with us soon.

Me, my wife and my little girl recently stayed at gwel an mor. We had stayed before in the Tregea loadge so booked to go again.

We had a call a few days before offering us a free upgrade which was great - to a Tregea VIP lodge. When we arrived we were pleasantly suprised to see the breakfast pack we had ordered had almost doubled in size over the course of the year which meant we had plenty for the week. We also had the whole lodge childproofed beyond what I expected with restricters on doors and windows, fire guard and free to use pushchair for the week.

I won't go on too long but needless to say the reception, spa, restaurant, soft play and especially the staff at Feadon farm were great.

The restaurant also let us order off the takeaway menu for delivery which was most appreciated.

We are already planning our next trip.

Just came back from having had the most perfect 5 days away at Gwel an Mor. We were there to have a chilled few days away to celebrate having just got married and what a perfect 5 days it was. From the moment we arrived at Gwel an Mor an mor we were welcomed with friendly faces and easy check in. When we moved into our lodge the views from the lounge are breathtaking looking over Portreath cove, the hot tub was ready to go as well as lovely complimentary touches like the tea and coffee, milk and bottle of prosecco in the fridge and the treats for the dog. Gwel an Mor is situated in the most beautiful surroundings of beaches, national trust forrest and the little farm.
We booked some treatments in the spa which was really relaxing and the treatments were incredible. We had such a lovely time we've booked to go again in April! The surrounding area is so beautiful, a must do is a wonder around st Ives, Portkidney beach and The Healeys Cider Factory which were all less than half hour drive away from Gwel al Mor and all extremely dog friendly other than that it was a BBQ on the terrace and a long soak in the hot tub!

Jade,

"Perfect 5 Days at Gwel an Mor"

So pleased that you spent your honeymoon with us, and that you had such a lovely time together.

We are lucky where we are located of course, the beach, Tehidy park and a few minutes from the A30 where you can get anywhere pretty quickly.

Look forward to April when you come back!

We booked a Residence Lodge and were really pleased that it fitted the bill as 5 Star.
The Lodge was clean and well presented with everything you needed for a wonderful holiday.
Super quality linen and towels really did provide that wow factor.
The hot-tub on the decking which was kept at a great temperature was an added bonus.
With a very nice well equipped kitchen we mixed eating out and eating in.
The gym, although a bit small had all the machines we wanted and was never crowded. The indoor pool complex was very nice indeed, extremely clean and functional. (The communal changing facilities were a tad different and with showers right opposite the sauna and steam-room, were not exactly very private)
We had one problem with the wi-fi on the last evening when it dropped out completely. I rang reception and having just put the phone down, a maintenance man was practically straight over and resolved the issue in minutes.
My only gripe was not being able to book Sunday Lunch at the on-site restaurant as it was booked up. Perhaps a consideration might be given to extend the hours for Sunday Lunch servings.
Overall an excellent stay and all staff encountered were extremely friendly and helpful.
We will consider coming back again if holidaying in the area.

Room Tip: Go for a residence lodge.
