Small place with only 18 places. During the weekend a lot of people and families coming eating. The place had been renewed.

Sushi are great and very fresh, with an affordable prices, all fish served from daily.

Recommend this restaurant if you want good and fresh quality sushi. Better to come early because long line waiting.

Thank Eric S

This is one of our favorite sushi restaurants. We go to this restaurant every time we visit the area.

There is only 18 seats total at the counter, three sushi chefs hand crafting each piece. There is no tables.

Yes, there were a couple of families there but it is not what I would consider traditional family with little children type of restaurant. This is hard core sushi restaurant. While I say that, there were two families of three each with a child about 10 years old but those kids were eating like the adults. If your child is not used to eating sushi, do not come here. There is no kids menu.

There is a couple of things that make this place unique. First, you get the freshest fish of the day but once it is out, it out. So if you go at the end of lunch or dinner hour, you are literally eating whatever happens to be left over. What ever they make, it is very good because it is fresh. So go early and expect a lineup. We go 30 minutes before the door opens and we are never first in line.

Second, there is the traditional "toronegi" roll that you can order, it is quite pricey. However they also have their house "daiten maki" which is their version of "toronegi" which is much tastier and half the price of the traditional kind. Highly recommend this house special.

If you do not speak Japanese, it may be hard for you to communicate with the chefs. Pointing should be enough but some of the specialty items would be harder to order. Recommend their red miso soup which is made from the fish that didn't sell the previous day, flavor is always different and really good.

Every time we go (20 plus times thus far) it costs about 50 USD per head. So it is not cheap eats but it is not cheap factory made sushi either.

Hint for not waiting too long, go 30-45 minutes after the start of each shift. This will get the hard core, wait in a lineup 30 minutes before it opens people out of the way, you will end up being the second sitting. You still have all the fish selection but not the crazy wait times.
