We stayed in a Garden room for 10 nights in July. The Garden rooms are set back away from the beach but are large inside and have bigger beds than the Beach rooms.
The room was great - huge bed, table and chair, fridge, a/c, tv, shelves etc, and a patio with 2 chairs and a table.
As we came in low season, the resort was very quiet, and we usually had the beach to ourselves. The beach is lovely, but can get quite small during high tide.
The location is great - right on Sunrise beach, good restaurants either side (Sunrise and Salisa), and a few mins walk to Walking street for more shops and restaurants.
The staff on reception was very friendly and helpful. They cleaned our room straight away when we asked, and we bought our boat ticket back to Pakbara from them for a good price.
In low season they only serve breakfast in their restaurant, and then close the kitchen for the rest of the day so you have to eat elsewhere.
In low season, very little is open - just a handful of shops and restaurants, but the majority of the island seemed shut down. For us this was no problem, and actually meant we had a very peaceful stay.
They are currently building another block of Garden rooms so you may hear some building noise, and when finished, will mean the resort has more people in.
The Garden rooms are directly infront of a road that is used quite a lot by locals on their motorbikes so you can hear them driving past a lot.
The wifi had quite a few issues and wasn't working for quite a lot of our stay. Luckily you can normally also see the networks of the Salisa and Sunrise either side of the resort (you'll need to get the password though).
