Really great day out with our boys. The tank driving and paint ball experience was really good. The instructor (Roger) was fab. Well organised and a museum as well. Thanks!

Had a great time. wasn't sure what to expect but every part of it was brilliant. Driving the tank, loading the gun and firing and aiming. Then the battle itself. brilliant experience run by a great bunch of guys.

Booked this as a surprise for my husband's birthday and so glad I did! Usually the cut off for bookings is October, however the weather was still suitable in November for us to participate - thankfully!
The weight restriction is 22 stone which I am pretty close to; due to internal size constraints of the tank and availability of protective clothing (provided), it really wouldn't be appropriate for anyone over this weight - despite some hilarity of attempting to get a protective jacket to fit, i was far more comfortable wearing my own jacket! Your clothing can get muddy even with the protective gear, so don't wear your finest - comfort is key - especially with the contortionist skills required to move within the vehicle (which will have been worse for a lady of my size!). Whilst the ability to move easily is essential from my experience, Matt did advise that they have previously found a way to allow an individual who is confined to a wheelchair to participate; so if you're disabled but interested, do still give them a call - they may be able to help! Matt was a fantastic instructor - friendly, informative, with a good sense of humour.
Groups have to be split into 3 (if you're not already a 3 you will get put with someone else, if you're more than 3 your group will be split); ultimately 1 person to drive, 1 person to aim, and 1 person to load and fire, but you get the opportunity to learn all 3 before the battle and decide amongst yourselves your positions of preference. The battle itself goes extremely fast; you have just 12 paint balls and speed is key! We had a blast (if you'll pardon the pun), and consider £99 extremely reasonable per person - thoroughly recommend!
There are toilets on site, but they're pretty chilly and a bit grim, so I recommend going before arrival if you have the chance. There is also a limited amount of cold food and hot or cold drink available at a reasonable price. The spectator area is not heated so make sure both participants and guests are wearing appropriate clothing.

This was bought for me as a present and it was a great present to receive. You get to drive an APC, armoured personnel carrier. It is a bit of a beast but good fun to drive. It is quite basic to drive but you do not want it complicated. The instructor I had was excellent and guided me with the driving and controls very well. It is a great feeling to drive such a heavy piece of machinery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The APC is a bit of a beast to drive. I thoroughly recommend this and was buzzing when over. You have control for most of the drive and is worth the money.
Afterwards there is the tank museum to visit which is also very good.
