We arrived late at the Tambarina Guest House and where heartily welcomed there. After a long motorbike tour from Mozambique we got two clean and well maintained rooms, luckily got space in the marvelous restaurant and enjoyed a splendid dinner. Well worth the price for both and an exceptional service! We both give an Outstanding for that location. The matter that they don't serve breakfast is not a problem, there is a cafe just around and you can order accordingly.
Thanks guys for everything! We will be back!

Tambarina is an ideal overnight pitstop close to the SA/Moz border. The accommodation is comfortable, the room was spacious and hd a tv, fridge and kettle. The on-site restaurant is great - it has a nice outside eating area, good choice on the menu and the food is very tasty - so very convenient if you've been on the road all day. This is the second time we've stayed here and I'd certainly stay again - it's not a high end place but is comfortable and convenient.

We have been working in Komati for two weeks & spent the last one in Tamarina, having eaten in the restaurant the previous week.

The whole thing is great value for money - R550 per night for Dinner bed & breakfast.

The rooms are simple with a rustic charm but clean n& comfortable - the food is good & the portions huge. It must be good as the dining room is always busy.

Breakfast is across the road at the Stoep Café, which for me only adds to the charm as you can watch the town waking up over a cup of coffee.

We're going back for another 2 weeks

Room Tip: There are only 4 - if you want a double bed then ask for 3 or 4.
