The rooms are spacious, but have not been renovated for a looong time. Service was adequate but not very friendly. Definitely way overpriced. Breakfast was very poor. Location is nice, atop a hill in a quiet residental area.

My husband and I spent one night there. It's okay but since I'm a light sleeper I could hear from my room the cleaners early next morning talking in the corridor and doors opening and closing....need sound proof rooms.

Inexpensive for european standards. Rooms spacious and very clean. Pop on Friday for a chance of impressing your friends with your karaoke skills.

Restaurant very vibrant with nightlife. Excellent food.

Highly recommended.

The hotel is small, clean and welcoming. The room was spacious. The food was very tasty. As a vegetarian, I was weary that there was no salad at breakfast. However, the service was excellent (except for one of the grumpy receptionists).

I will return. Oh..the lobby smells divine!

We spent four days at this hotel and enjoyed the entire time spent there. The lobby is comfortable to hang out in. The rooms were a good size with two double beds and also had a fridge, microwave, kettle and tea/coffee selection. Overall I truly enjoyed the hotel.

The good:
1.The hotel is pretty well maintained.
2. Complimentary breakfast included in rate with a big Sunday morning breakfast.
3. Rooms are spacious.
4. Mini-mart in the hotel.
5. Gym in the hotel.
6. Pool in the hotel.
7. Live music Friday and Saturday nights. Karaoke Sunday nights.
8. Scheduled events (such as a poolside fashion show the weekend we stayed).

The not so good:
1. The front desk staff, on the day of check in and check out. They seriously need to keep the attitude in check.
2. The location of the pool. There is absolutely no privacy. It's not a pool, I would lounge around and actually opted not to use the pool even though I had initially planned to.
3. The hotel location is in a residential area which makes getting around difficult without a car. That being said, the hotel staff is apparently trained to insist that there is nothing close by and everything requires a car. However, we are a family that walks and explores and discovered Southpark Mall a mere 15 minute walk away. Though walking back to the hotel was basically up hill.
4. Bathrooms should be updated.
5. A bit pricey, but hotel options in San Fernando are limited so their rates are not likely to go down.

And the Great!!:
1. Driftwood Restaurant. I absolutely enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. The food (while not inexpensive), was excellent, the service from all the staff was suburb. The chef for morning breakfast was extremely friendly and willing to make dishes to suit your diet (I'm a vegetarian). The staff checked to make sure everything was alright and they were efficient. Did I mention that the food was excellent? It definitely was.
