This place has it all! The people are amazing, the accomodation and food was second to none, and the fishing was without a doubt the best this country has to offer, the guides put you onto the fish time and time again and seriously know their stuff, this was the second time i have been at the lodge and its impossible for me to pick which one i enjoyed the most, so much to learn up there and i cannot wait to go back! 10 out of 10 for all the workers up there and the waterways and landmarks are just something everyone must see and respect! bring on next year!

Fantastic fishing, Fantastic hosts. Food was great. Excellent experience.
Tick off the bucket list. Absolutely no complaints as the experience was more than I expected. Nothing was to hard for any of the hosts.

A fantastic location for that once off fishing experience. Knowledgeable staff and boating crew happy to take you where you want to go to catch the elusive fish. The food is to die for prepared by a brilliant chef with local produce and even the fish you catch on the day.

3 of us arrived from Darwin, we had hardly put our bags in the rooms (which were very comfortable and cool) when a plate full of nibbles were put in front of us, from then on the food for the whole stay was often, plentiful and delicious, just good honest food without the fancy city stuff. Thanks James (the cook). Our guide Clint was awesome company very knowledgeable about the islands, fishing areas and in general just a great guy. We enjoyed the trip that much we will be back again. All of the staff, visible and non visible run a well organised, hospitable, friendly lodge. They couldn't do enough for us. The other great thing is that no food is wasted and a percentage of our daily fees goes towards the Tiwi Island Community.

Words do not describe the experience of fishing & staying at Clearwater Island Lodge.
The Fishing was amazing - Estuary & open water. managed to catch 8 Barra on day one sticking in the estuaries & then the open water was an even better experience with Mackeral, GT's, Cod, Queenies, Saddles, Jacks... not only the best fishing experience i have enjoyed over the years but the guide we had for the two days was awesome. He was much more than a fishing guide basically giving us a detailed rundown on the history of the Island & people. Simply amazing. I am lucky with my work that I do eat out at some of the world's better restaurants & can say that the chef onsite outdoes most of the restaurants with the daily catch..... :-)

A must do for any fisherman or anyone wanting to get away for a week.

I am already planning the next trip....
