Lovely view over the harbour
The starter (French Onion soup) was to die for.
Mains were also good. The staff were very helpful. We didn't have a dessert.
The only fault was they don't take credit/debit cards. Which is really annoying as there are no signs up and the other restaurant on the complex does!
As a result we had to find another means of payment. Cash! And there are no local cash machines.

Spoiled a lovely evening otherwise it would have been five stars.

As it's our last night here we wanted a special meal, we made a bad choice, as I have left in tears unable to eat my food and having been spoken too so rudely....the menu leads you to believe you get chips and salad with all main meals....as they brought out one portion between 4 of us I felt it was ok to go and ask where the others were to be informed that was it but we could order others and being told to let her finish when I politely pointed out that it doesn't say that on the menu.... I have left my husband there with the children as I was so disgusted....what a horrid way to end such a lovely holiday....added to this my husband just paid 109 euros for a meal that only 2 of the 4 ate......by the way other staff were lovely but the rudeness of one ruined it.

After the kids playground we took the break for small lunch. It is nice place - view to the harbor. As outside it was hot, we decided to eat inside. It took some time to find from the something to everybody. Menu did not impress. Service was also not enthusiastic (but also not bad). Next time rather for drinks then food.

Service makes a restaurant experience and this experience was awful. AWFUL!!! Almost two hours of waiting for an incomplete order of burger and fries and waiters that just don’t care.

Friday lunchtime. Not busy. We waited ages for drinks and didn’t get the menus we were promised. After a long time I had to go to the bar and get the menus myself.
It took ages to order food (by the time we ordered the couple opposite us had left unhappy without ordering). Waiter never looked in our direction even when walking past five times as if he was on holiday himself (he’s even on their marketing poster). We (eventually) ordered two meals, a burger and cod plus bread with butter/aioli.
After 5 minutes we were told by kitchen staff that there was no cod. The alternative fish dish ‘Catch of the Day’ was not offered as an option, so obviously no fish. (This is at the start of the Easter weekend, not the end!!!!). With no fish my wife asked what the Chef’s vegetarian option ‘Vega van de chef’ was. The answer: ‘urmmmmmm, salad?’ was offered. No additional information of what kind of salad. We just replaced the cod with a toasted sandwich for simplicity…. And waited longer!

The burger turned up, the bread didn’t, the toasted sandwich didn’t. By this time we just wanted to go so we thought finish what we have and leave. …of course the restaurant tried to charge us for something we didn’t actually get. Awful, awful, awful. So unprofessional. A real shame. The food was actually quite good. Just not what we wanted. I certainly won’t come back. I hope no one does.

(FYI I have lived in in the Netherlands for 20 years and speak extremely good Dutch, so there is absolutely no problem concerning linguistic misunderstanding and I will also post this in Dutch)

Its good location, nice view. We went there for lunch. Smoked salmon with bread was delicious. They also served iced cold beer :)
