Staying at Hotel Grand Baia Verde, the Oleandro restaurant there had to be tried. It is situated by the side of the pool on the top of the cliffs. From the open windows you catch the cooling breeze from the sea, whilst enjoying the most amazing views. The staff were friendly and made us welcome, disappointingly we were only given a short menu card, with about 5 choices for each course. There were meals on offer I would not normally be interested by. My wife and I both tried pasta starters and I was surprised by their size and how deliciously different they were to Italian meals in the UK. Fish and chicken were both chosen by us and these meal sizes, much smaller than the starters. Both these courses were filling and so we had coffees and called it a night. €30 for 2 delicious courses was very good value, noting that prices included service charges.
Recommended for a lovely evening.
